Pinkbike Racing: Les Gets 2023 - WC#6

PinkBike Racing

Bonjour from the French Alps in Les Gets! Even though the view from the start showed a beautiful snow-covered Mont-Blanc, the track we rode this week was very dusty. It was warm and sunny the whole time. Also, there was an amazing crowd cheering for PBR!

After facing a few tough races, Aimi needed to rebuild her confidence. Her goal was to make it to the finals and find her usual racing rhythm. She did it! Bouncing back isn't always a walk in the park. In the end, Aimi clinched the 8th spot in the finals. Now, she has a two-week window to hit the training grind and get back in peak shape for the last two World Cup races of the season in the USA and Canada. Watch more on Instagram: @aimi_kenyon

DADDY CATHRO IS BACK ON THE BIKE!!!
It's so awesome to see Big Ben back on his bike after such a long break. His back injury is finally behind him. Even though we all knew that qualifying would be tough, just watching him ride his bike was a huge relief.
Ben was also doing what he does best:  Inside the tape Les Gets and Story of the race Les Gets. Watch more on Instagram @ben_cathro

Wyatt is getting better and better. It may not have been enough to qualify this time, but this first year is primarily focused on gaining valuable experience in racing world cups in Europe. As we head back to North America for the upcoming rounds, we're optimistic about witnessing some good performances!  Watch more on Instagram: @wyatth64

Les Gets 2023

Personally, Tibo experienced one of the most memorable weeks of the 2023 season. Competing on home turf in France, surrounded by French fans, family, and friends, felt fantastic. Tibo managed to make it to the semi-finals and finished in 41st place, coming within just 2 seconds of reaching the finals. Racing in Les Gets held a special place in my heart. The energy from the enthusiastic crowd was electrifying, and Tibo could sense their support during my race runs. After five consecutive weeks of racing, it's time for Tibo to take a short break, shift his focus to the team, organize their upcoming trip to the USA and Canada, and then race again!  Watch more on Instagram: @tibolaly and on Youtube: Lalyche TV (recent channel that is blowing up in France).
